NEIGHBORHOOD OF THE WEEK: Riverstone in Cd’A: New Bellerive action

The Riverstone community continues to thrive in Coeur d’Alene alongside Northwest Boulevard near the Spokane River. It’s a bustling, modern mini-town filled with popular shoppes (spelled appropriately for fanciness), exciting and eclectic restaurant options, as well as a hub for a huge variety of local businesses and professional offices.

Riverstone also boasts some of the newest and most alluring housing options in Coeur d’Alene, with new clusters of apartments, condos and homes popping in alongside overall expansion of the development.

With Riverstone too big to be discussed in a single Neighborhood of the Week story, we’ll be honing in on a few specific sections in multiple installments. Today’s focus is Bellerive Lane, located just south of Riverstone Park and the popular stretch of the North Idaho Centennial Trail along the Spokane River.

Home to stunning riverfront condos and homes (as well as an especially tasty breakfast at Le Peep), you may not find a better stretch of modern and dynamic home designs anywhere else in the city.

No existing waterfront homes along Bellerive are currently active, though a couple remaining buildable lots are in the system listed around $900,000. However, a few brand new homes on the other side of the street are active, including a three-bedroom, 2.5 bath single-level home with just over 2,000 square feet listed by Dalton Cunningham, a Realtor with Select Properties/Associated Brokers, who represents ActiveWest Builders.

Cunningham said the string of homes on that side of Bellerive appeal to buyers who want access to outdoor activities and amenities but want minimal outdoor maintenance on their own properties. Some have peekaboo views of the river, though everyone there is just a few steps from enjoying the waterfront via the Centennial Trail.

At press time, three other homes were active on this stretch of Bellerive, all represented by John Beutler of Century 21 Beutler & Associates. Two are three-bedroom, three-bath homes in the low $900,000 range, while the other is a townhome with four bedrooms and almost 2,300 square feet priced just below $800,000.

New construction from Atlas Building Group

As you first access Bellerive Lane from Beebe Boulevard and near Le Peep (mmmmm), you’ll likely notice signage for new construction coming later this year from Atlas Building Group. Atlas co-owner Nick Forsberg said they hope to begin construction on five new homes in April.

Two different floor plans will be offered, both coming in around 2,800 square feet, and amenities will include higher-end finishes, modern, dynamic stylings and attached three-car garages, Forsberg said.

Atlas Building Group won three Parade of Homes awards last year for stylings and design on their Bellerive waterfront home. You can get a taste of their work by visiting AtlasBuildingGroup.com. The new homes are available now with tentative completion set for later this fall. Those interested should reach out now to 208-818-7941 or email info@atlasbuildinggroup.com.

Stay tuned in the coming weeks for details on more new projects in Riverstone, including upcoming projects from ActiveWest as part of their Riviera Walk, Riviera Court and Riviera Place projects. Contact Dalton Cunningham at 208-659-7653 or email Dalton@ActiveWestBuilders.com for more information on those, as well as his listing on Bellerive.

For information on the other active listings on Bellerive, you can reach out to John Beutler of Century 21 Beutler & Associates at 208-765-5554.
