• Deputies responded to E Coeur d’Alene Lake Drive (Lake Drive Motel) and made contact with the R/P in reference to a guest that has not paid for his room and he wanted him removed. This has been an ongoing issue regarding trespassing/fees not being paid. It was determined that the guest could be evicted and trespassed. The guest was not in his room at the time and the R/P was going to work on changing the lock and removing the guest’s personal items. A report was completed.
• Deputies responded to E. Apache Trl for a 911 hang up. Male called Bonner County 911 and advised someone tried to shoot him. Upon being transferred to KCSO, the male hung up. Upon arrival, deputies contacted parties on scene and no mention of weapons or threats were made. Verbal argument only.
• Deputies responded to a hit and run crash where the victim followed the suspect to Sergeant’s Restaurant, where they were being uncooperative. That crash was closed victim refusal to prosecute. The suspect was ultimately charged with DUI Drugs (meth) and arrested for possession of paraphernalia.
• Deputies responded to a care facility in Hayden reference a female who was upset because she had burned through her allotment of cigarettes and was not to receive any more for another hour. The female called 911 twice to complain about the injustice, and staff asked for deputies to respond quickly because she was getting aggressive. Upon Deputies arrival, the female was calm and in her room. She was educated about misuse of 9-1-1 and agreed to wait an hour for her next cigarette.
• A Deputy has been working a theft call for a week now where a 90 year old woman had cash stolen by a cleaning lady working for a cleaning service. The company was able to identify the employee who admitted at first to taking $300 in cash, then ultimately admitted to stealing $570 from the homeowner over multiple days of cleaning. The Deputy charged the suspect for Petit Theft.
• Deputies investigated a theft in which a male took a discarded temporary debit card and spent $380 at a series of businesses over the span of a few days, cleaning out the account. The RP reported the suspect was at the Hayden Car Wash with her card, but he left before deputies arrived. This investigation is ongoing.
• Deputies stopped and arrested a driver for DUI at Government and Miles.
• A Deputy was conducting a security check at Kidd Island dumpsters and located a male and arrested him for Violation of No Contact Order since the protected person was sitting in truck with him.
• Deputies responded to the PSB where a male who had a warrant, was bonding out his girlfriend and was called in by their Bail Bondsman. Deputies arrested the male and transported him from the front of PSB to the back of PSB where he was booked into Jail on his warrant.
