Collin John Annable Sr., 80

Collin John Annable, Sr., 80, of Hayden, Idaho, went to be with our Lord on Jan. 30, 2020. He was born in Spokane, Wash., on May 15, 1939, to Harold (Bus) Annable and Elmina Parsons Annable. Collin grew up in Coeur d’Alene and attended schools there and in Spokane. He served in the U.S. Navy in Tacoma, Wash., as an electrician’s mate.

Collin had various work experience: welder, worked on Hells Canyon Dam Project at Brownlee Dam, Vans PX, owner of Skyway Catering, Puget Sound Fabricators, serving the majority of his working life at Union Pacific Railroad as a teamster in Local 174.

He was active in various organizations: Commodore and member of Totem Yacht Club in Tacoma, Sun N Surf Run which raised money for Children’s Hospital in Seattle, fundraising for Boyer Children’s Clinic, Harley Owners Group (life member), officer and member of Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks, honorary member of the Seattle Cossacks Motorcycle Stunt Team, Fraternal Order of Eagles and Christ the King Lutheran Church.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, pool and riding his Harley Davidson. He most enjoyed his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Annable and children Sherri (Rick) Memovich, Rocky (Lori) Annable, Craig (Tami) Annable, Kelli Annable, Chris (Kimber) Anderson and Shane (Becky) Anderson; grandchildren Michelle (Ryan) Thibodeau, Jesse (Miles) Shaw, Jason (Stephanie) Berg, Christa Nodland, Jaymi Shaw, Kristin (Kenny) Loye, Troy Annable, Craig Annable, Jr., Cody Annable and CJ Anderson; great-grandchildren Paisley and Harper Cleland, Beau Shaw and Kaley and Logan Thibodeaul; and former wife, Sharon Hartman Annable. He was preceded in death by grandchildren CJ Annable, III and Kaylee Anderson.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, 2020, at Yates Funeral Home, 744 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
