Democrats make voting easy
BOISE — The Idaho Democratic Party has created some resources to make the 2020 primary election voting process easy, including a printout and webpages containing important election information and deadlines.
The Democratic Presidential Preference Primary will be held on March 10 and will allow all registered Democrats and unaffiliated voters to cast their vote for the Democratic nominee for President of the United States.
The website and printout also contain information regarding the April 4 County Delegate Selection Caucuses, where counties will select delegates to the Democratic state convention in June and May 19, 2020, Idaho State Primary Election.
In 2018, the Idaho Democratic Party announced it would switch from using caucuses to a state-run primary in the 2020 election year.
“We’re excited Democrats will get to voice their opinion this year through a traditional primary that will enfranchise every person,” said IDP Chair Van Beechler. “We also want to ensure Idaho Dems have all the information they need to participate in every step of the process.”
