Free Christmas dinner slated

A free dinner is scheduled noon to 3:30 p.m. Christmas Day at Cherished Ones Ministries, 401 N. Second St.

All are welcome.

It will include a holiday feast, complete with dessert, music and good company. There will be dine-in, curbside, carryout and delivery options.

Stephanie Roberts, an organizer of the Christmas meal and manager of The Altar church food bank, said a similar free dinner on Thanksgiving attracted a big crowd and nearly 350 meals were served.
