PHD: 302 new cases

The Panhandle Health District reported 302 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday, bringing its total to 13,370 cases. Of those, 9,259 are listed as closed.

The majority of cases, about 6,600, are in the 18-49 age range, according to PHD. There have been no deaths under the age of 50 attributed to the virus in the PHD,

The PHD reported it has had a total of 145 deaths attributed to COVID-19, with 130 of those people age 70 or older.

Kootenai Health reported it had 80 coronavirus cases, with 24 in critical care as the hospital operates near capacity.
