MASKS: A gift to others

I’m sorry that Mr. Ginorio feels that masks don’t help and they are all about Mr. Biden. Sorry COVID is not political. It’s a serious virus that spreads from person to person in many ways and one may not even know that they are contagious. Many may not have symptoms even though positive but another may get very sick even die.

Basically it’s like a throw of the dice, who misses and who gets sick? Talk to some of the doctors and nurses right here in our own hospital who treat those with COVID. They certainly mask up, as well as protective gowns, etc.

I don’t know about you but a mask, handwashing and social distancing are far better than a bad throw of the dice and no more a restriction of my rights than seat belts, even less! It’s just common sense. Also, it really is the season to think of others. Please wear a mask and Merry Christmas!
