SCOTUS: A deadly decision

| December 4, 2020 1:00 AM

In the worst traditions of military intelligence since SNAFU (Situation Normal All F*ed Up), the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) has chosen to reaffirm the most cynical excuse for institutional murder since the popular Vietnam War cry, “Kill them all and let God sort them out.”

SCOTUS has granted the ultimate right to religious insanity, uh freedom, by permitting the FAITHFUL, or perhaps in this case the FATEFUL, to freely gather despite all reason and good sense.

If in fact there is an all seeing, all knowing Supreme Being, one must imagine such an intelligence seeing this as a divine confirmation of evolution, for surly this is the ultimate expression of the Darwin Effect in action.

Not to be outdone in the court of utter ignorance, today singers Van Morrison and Eric Clapton release an anti-lockdown album to fight for the right for mass live music performances. Guaranteeing their legacies as mass murders. So much for hearing, “Layla” and “Moondance” in Heaven.

You could say, anyone who believes in the infallibility of cult-of-personality popular culture has-beens seeking attention or delusional religious con-artists deserves what they get, but sadly the blood of innocents is on their hands. Not mine to judge, but “Stupid is as stupid does” seems to apply. I guess we just, “Let God sort them out.”
