Crash sends PF man to hospital

A Post Falls man was taken to Kootenai Health following a one-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 90.

Steven M. Looney, 35, was westbound in a 2017 Ram pickup about 4:15 p.m. when he left the roadway, crossed through the median, and came to rest against the eastbound guardrail on the median side at milepost 10 just west of Coeur d'Alene, according to the Idaho State Police.

The left eastbound and westbound lanes were blocked for about 45 minutes.

ISP said it was unknown if Looney was wearing his seat belt.

An investigation continues.
