SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 196 The City of Hauser, Kootenai County, Idaho, hereby gives notice of the adoption of Hauser Ordinance No. 196, an Ordinance of the City of Hauser, a municipal corporation of the State of Idaho, entitled "The Annual Appropriation Ordinance for the Fiscal Year Beginning October 1, 2020, appropriating the sum of $474,316 to defray the expense and liabilities of the City of Hauser for said fiscal year, authorizing a levy of a sufficient tax upon the taxable property and specifying the objects and purposes for which said appropriation is made". Section One of the Ordinance appropriates the sum of $474,316 to defray the expenses and liabilities of the City of Hauser for said fiscal year. Section Two of the Ordinance specifies the objects and purposes for which said appropriation is made. Section three of the Ordinance states "that a general tax levy to yield $26,436 on all taxable property within the City of Hauser be levied in an amount allowed by law for the general purposes for said City, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2020". Section Four repeals all conflicting Ordinances and parts of Ordinances. Section Five states that the Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage, approval and publication. RESOLUTION NO. 08-2020 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUETTER, IDAHO, RESERVING THE FORGONE AMOUNT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2020 FOR POTENTIAL USE IN SUBSEQUENT YEARS AS DESCRIBED IN IDAHO CODE §63-802, et al. WHEREAS, Idaho Code §50-235 empowers the city council of each city to levy taxes for general revenue purposes; and, WHEREAS, Idaho Code §50-1002 requires the city council of each city in the State of Idaho to pass a budget, referred to as an annual appropriation ordinance; and, WHEREAS, Idaho Code §63-802 sets limitations on all taxing district budget requests on the amount of property tax revenues that can be used to fund programs and services; and, WHEREAS, Idaho Code §63-802(1)(a) allows each taxing entity to increase property tax budget amounts by a maximum of 3%, plus an amount calculated based on the value of both new construction and annexation added during the previous calendar year, plus an amount for forgone taxes; and, WHEREAS, Idaho Code §63-802(1)(f) requires that the City adopt an annual resolution to reserve additional forgone amount in order to utilize that amount in subsequent years; and, WHEREAS, the City has met the notice and hearing requirements in Idaho Code §63-802(1)(f) to reserve the current year's increase in the forgone amount; and, WHEREAS, the City intends to reserve ($$ Amount in Dollars $$) of its current year's increase in allowable forgone amount. SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 591 The city of Rathdrum, Kootenai County, Idaho, hereby gives notice of the adoption of Rathdrum Ordinance No. 591, an Ordinance of the City of Rathdrum, a municipal corporation of the State of Idaho, entitled "The Annual Appropriation Ordinance for the Fiscal Year Beginning October 1, 2020, appropriating the sum of $24,330,090 to defray the expense and liabilities of the City of Rathdrum for said fiscal year, authorizing a lev of a sufficient tax upon the taxable property and specifying the objects and purposes for which said appropriation is made". Section One of the Ordinance appropriates the sum of $24,330,090 to defray the expenses and liabilities of the City of Rathdrum for said fiscal year. Section Two of the Ordinance specifies the objects and purposes for which said appropriation is made. Section three of the Ordinance states "that a general tax levy to yield $3,053,658 on all taxable property within the City of Rathdrum be levied in an amount allowed by law for the general purposes for said City, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2019". Section Four repeals all conflicting Ordinances and parts of Ordinances.
