Heather Colleen Thompson

| August 5, 2020 1:00 AM

On Monday, July 27, 2020, Heather Colleen Thompson, beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt and cousin, passed away peacefully in her sleep. She gained the golden wings she so dearly deserved. The legacy she left is that of mentor to young women, caregiver to special needs adults, loyal friend, comedian and role model.

Our memories of her as a mother, daughter and friend are of a strong woman, who was brave in the face of uncertainty, caring, loving, selfless, gorgeous in body and spirit and a true friend to all she met. As a mother, she was a strong shoulder to rely on and was always there when needed. She was outgoing while being a humble and wise counselor.

She is survived by her five daughters: Kolbie, Austyn, Rylee, Raiganne and Shaiyn; her parents, Barbara and Geoff Williams; two sisters: Pam Williams Paez and Becky Williams Stafford and her brothers, Geoff Williams, Larry Williams and Kenny Penman; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and father, Ken Penman.

Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7, 2020, at Heart of the City Church, 772 W. Kathleen Ave., Coeur d’Alene. All friends and family are welcome to attend her memorial service.

“Mama, spread your wings and fly high. We love you to the moon and back.” — Your loving family.
