Kootenai County Sheriff’s deputies responded to calls of an overdose at the Kon Tiki Bar in Stateline Village early Sunday morning.

A female was found in the bathroom having convulsions. She was taken to Kootenai Health for treatment.

According to a sheriff’s office press release, witnesses said the female and a friend were approached by two men in the bar. The four went to Stateline Showgirls next door. Sometime later, the female returned to the Kon Tiki and was found incoherent in the bathroom. According to the press release, witnesses said the woman’s reaction was not proportionate to the amount of alcohol she’d consumed.

On July 12, a similar incident occurred involving a woman who required hospitalization after being approached by two men.

Both incidents are under investigation.

If anyone has any information about the suspects or were at the establishments on the listed dates, they are encouraged to contact the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office Detectives Division at 208-446-1300.
