Boettcher, a senior, capped his high school wrestling career with a state 4A championship at 170 pounds, helping the Hawks take fourth in the tournament. Boettcher, who finished 38-5, did not allow a point to be scored on him in his four wins, capped by a pin of Zuriel Angulo of Vallivue late in the first round. “He dominated everybody he wrestled at state,” Lakeland coach Rob Edelblute said.
