WHITEHEAD: Waterways forum winner

I watched the Hayden Lake Watershed District “Sheriff Forum” and was amazed at the lack of experience in managing waterways by all but one of the candidates.

What a contrast... Rick Whitehead easily has the relevant experience when considering waterways. Norris, Edmondson - none of the others comes even close to the experience demonstrated by Rick Whitehead.

Given all the waterways, lakes and rivers in Kootenai County and the major recreational usage, we need a Sheriff that knows how to manage lakes from day one.

Sheriff of Kootenai County is not a place for on-the-job training. We need a professional Sheriff with relevant experience in woods, mountains, lakes and rivers and a person that deeply understands the cultural and lifestyles of the people in North Idaho and that means one choice; Rick Whitehead.

Rick has gone the extra mile to meet with anyone that asks, to be transparent in his belief system and to honor us with his support of the United States and Idaho Constitutions. He has the right experience to be Sheriff of Kootenai County and the right vision to lead us into the future.

Growth, local culture, local issues are all well understood and I can say with complete confidence, In his heart, Rick Whitehead is a true Idahoan and I am proud and honored with his friendship.
