The Coeur d’Alene Public Library will resume curbside service and accepting checked out returns on Monday, May 4. The building will remain closed to the public.

“This is the first phase of what we hope will lead us back to regular operations,” said library director Bette Ammon.

Ammon said the library will be partially staffed Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Curbside service will be available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. workdays. Lake City Public Library remains closed, and will not be available as a pick-up site.

Ammon said books and other items being returned to the library will be quarantined for three days, according to CDC recommendations, before they are returned to the shelves.
