• Deputies responded to Hayden Lake Rd and Rhapsody Lane for a rollover crash. The vehicle was unoccupied and the sole occupant was reported to be uninjured and at a friend’s house. It was determined the driver had pulled over to the soft shoulder to check their phone and their vehicle had then rolled down the steep embankment. 20-14688
• COPs volunteer was flagged down by a male in the Hayden Maverick parking lot on 95 and Hayden. Deputies responded to assist and learned the male was reporting a possible physical altercation/child abuse being committed by the mother of his eleven year old daughter. As a result of the investigation, the mother was issued a citation for assault. The eleven year old victim was released to her biological father. 20-14696
• Deputies responded to a domestic dispute at N Highway 41 where a male told his wife to leave due to ongoing verbal abuse. The female left the residence and made vague comments leading the male to believe she was possibly suicidal. The female had left before law enforcement arrived and an ATL was aired to surrounding agencies to check her welfare. It was determined no crime had occurred and an FI was completed. A little bit later it was reported the female was back at the residence and possibly took too much of her medication in an attempt to harm herself. He was taken to KH for treatment. 20-14707/20-14713
• A Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle at Wyoming and Falkirk. The driver was contacted and issued a citation for marijuana and paraphernalia. The driver was also cited for failure to carry license on person, and no insurance 20-14705
• A Deputy responded to a call at the Hayden Walmart regarding a possible attempted theft and drug use. The Deputy advised the suspects had left in a vehicle. The vehicle was located by another Deputy in Post Falls at the intersection of Highway 41 and Mullan. Deputies contacted the four occupants of the vehicle: As result of the stop and theft investigation all four of the occupants were arrested for various charges to include active warrants, felony drugs (to include heroin and fentanyl), criminal conspiracy and false information. The false information charge was a result of one of the occupants saying he had been in close contact with his mother who was active with Covid-19. Contact was made with his mother and it was learned they last saw each other over a year ago. All of the occupants were from Washington. Since committing thefts and possessing drugs is not an essential service, they were all charged with violation of the Governor’s Stay at Home order as well. 20-14731
• Deputies received two separate calls in the Hayden Creek area regarding welfare checks. One was for a male who had locked himself out of his vehicle and smelled of marijuana and the other was to check on a couple who were allegedly living in the area in a camper and their family hasn’t been able to contact them. None of the individuals could be located. 20-14733 and 20-14735
• Deputies responded to N Highway 41 for a reported suicide attempt. A female called in and advised she got into an argument with her boyfriend and he got mad at her and cut himself on the face and neck with a razor blade. Contact was made with male who had no injuries and claimed not have to attempt to cut himself. The female was contacted and admitted she never saw him cut himself. She was trespassed from the residence. 20-14746
