NORRIS: Meeting is believing

I am writing in support of Robert Norris for Sheriff. I have had the opportunity to meet and talk with him on a few occasions and he has shown himself to be open and transparent. He is not out to limit growth but being responsible with growth as the county continues to grow and our infrastructure continues to be overloaded with the growth.

We as a community also owe our support to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Deputy Association. They are a tremendous group of people who stand for the community no matter what. They are there to help, educate and when that is not an option they do the job required.

This also goes for the public agencies that are also supporting Robert Norris for Sheriff. It is the law enforcement community that stands in harm’s way and they should have what they have requested — community support for Robert Norris. The same is true for the firefighters who have endorsed Robert Norris.

While I appreciate that everyone is entitled to an opinion — again it bears repeating — support your Sheriff’s Office by following their lead by voting for Robert Norris — Sheriff — Kootenai County.
