Hagadone Media Group launches grant program
Will donate $1 million in matching advertising credits
The Hagadone Media Group has created a grant program of up to $1 million in matching advertising credits to assist locally owned businesses during these challenging times.
“As a leading provider of news, information and advertising in North Idaho, today we are proud to announce the launch of the Hagadone Media Marketing Grant program,” said Clint Schroeder, regional publisher. “This program offers matching marketing funds to locally owned companies whose business models have been impacted by the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus.”
Schroeder said that since 1892, the Coeur d’Alene Press has partnered with local businesses to deliver their message to customers “in both times of prosperity and in times of great challenge.
“These businesses are a linchpin in our community, and during uncertain times, we believe each of us can do our part to help our community come through this pandemic stronger and more united,” he said.
Grants will be awarded in amounts between $250 and $10,000 per month and can be used toward print or digital advertising in local Hagadone Media Group news publications. That includes The Coeur d’Alene Press, The Post Falls Press, The Bonner County Daily Bee, The Shoshone News-Press and The Bonners Ferry Herald, as well as Montana and Washington state publications.
“While the COVID-19 virus has created change and difficulties for us all, the ability of our local business community to reach their customers remains essential to their, and all of our, sustainability and recovery,” Schroeder said.
