Spotted Horse, a 6-foot junior point guard, averaged 15.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.7 steals and 3.5 assists as the Knights won their first state title in 23 years, beating Cascade 74-57 in the 1A Division II championship game on March 7 at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa. “He does everything for us — scores, rebounds, assists, steals, and is just what our team go,” Lakeside coach James Twoteeth told the Idaho Statesman newspaper.
