Kootenai County up to 54 COVID-19 cases

Two new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Kootenai County, Panhandle Health District reported Tuesday. That brings the county total to 54.
Bonner County is holding steady at four cases while Shoshone, Benewah and Boundary counties haven’t confirmed a single case.
According to PHD, 37 of the confirmed cases have improved to the point that their medical condition is no longer being monitored. That’s an improvement of nine people compared to Monday.
So far, the number of people hospitalized by COVID-19 in the five northern counties remains at five.
