Two new COVID-19 cases confirmed here

After a weekend with no new COVID-19 cases being reported, Kootenai County added two on Monday, according to Panhandle Health District.

The two new confirmed cases bring Kootenai County’s total to 52. Bonner County has four, while Shoshone, Boundary and Benewah counties have not confirmed a single case.

In the five northernmost counties, five confirmed COVID-19 cases have been hospitalized at some point. So far, 28 patients have improved to the point that their progress is no longer being monitored. The five northern counties have not had a death attributed to COVID-19.
