SWAMP: Doug O’s a drainer

Mark Twain once said, “Never let the truth get in the way of a good story.” I’m sure Jeff Tyler was only trying to do his buddy, Tim Kastning, a favor in his letter to the editor earlier this week.

Tyler said Doug has contributed to Democrats, which is untrue. The Secretary of State’s website has no record of Doug giving money to Democrats, ever. Some people will say anything to help their friends get elected. Look at how Pelosi, the Clintons, and Obama treat President Trump. Go ahead and add Tyler to that list. Swamp politics as usual.

Doug’s employers, not Doug, made a handful of contributions to Democrats over the last few decades, but they made infinitely more to Republicans. But, that doesn’t matter, because it was not Doug’s money and Doug didn’t write those checks. If Tyler has a problem with those contributions, he needs to take it up with Doug’s employer.

These are the same kind of swamp politics Democrats have been using to try and destroy President Trump. Political insiders like Tyler and Pelosi try to insulate and consolidate their own power by only letting their close friends get elected. Doug not only supports Trump, he is being treated like Trump by Tyler and his group of party insiders who support Doug’s opponent.

Don’t let them win. Re-elect President Trump in November, and vote for Doug O today!
