DOUG O: Results, not rhetoric

Doug Okuniewicz should be our next Representative for District 2, Seat B. As former Chief of Police in Post Falls, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with Doug on various community projects where we developed a close friendship. Doug is a true conservative. Doug is a man of high moral character and integrity. He’s also intelligent and understands the legislative process. Doug is thoughtful, considerate, and he truly cares about others. It’s important to be right on the issues, but it’s equally important to be the kind of person who will listen and can get along with his fellow legislators, instead of just talking at you.

Less talk, more action. Doug is already working on our behalf to prevent a prison reentry center from being built in our community. Doug has written code changes that he’s shared with great success with local officials that will give local governments the ability to refuse an Idaho Prison Reentry Center from coming to our area. Additionally, as a legislator, he will oppose all funding that would place one of these facilities in our area. If he’s working this hard now, imagine what he can accomplish as our state representative.
