Scharenberg receives certification

Stifel is pleased to announce that Don Scharenberg, first vice president of investments in the firm’s private client group office in Coeur d’Alene, has earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor certification. The CPWA certification is for experienced financial advisors who seek the latest, most advanced knowledge and specialized skills necessary to serve high net worth clients. Requirements include meeting a five-year experience prerequisite, coursework in advanced wealth management strategies, and a comprehensive exam covering 11 core topics.

Scharenberg has worked at Stifel since 2013 and has helped clients financially for over 40 years. Additional certifications he carries include a Certified Investment Management Analyst certification and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation.
