04-10-2020
• Deputies responded to W. Hwy 53 for a reported Domestic. It was reported a male showed up at his ex’s residence; and would not leave. After investigating, the male was charged for Burglary. 20-13080
• Deputies responded to S. Fairmont Lp. reference a Burglary report. After investigating, Deputies charged a female for Burglary and for Petit Theft.

• Deputies responded to the area of Wolf Lodge Rd. X Frontage Rd. for a male who was reportedly driving erratically, and then stopped his vehicle, took off all his clothes, and then began running naked down the middle of the road. After checking the area, units were UTL. 20-13089
• There has been an ongoing issue with unsanctioned car shows, mostly at Higgens Point. Some of those hot rod vehicles were spotted coming into the area and several traffic stops were made to deter the event and remind the drivers of the Governor’s Order. Tonight they appeared at Higgens Point, as well as on Seltice near Huetter and multiple locations in the city, where CdA PD also addressed the issue.
• Several deputies responded to an auto burg in progress in the Grouse Meadows area. Two females were detained, and after a lengthy investigation it was determined that one female attempted to break into a vehicle while the other maintained a lookout. They were charged with attempted auto burglary and conspiracy. One of the females were also cited for mara/para. 20-13129
• A Deputy observed a vehicle doing a burnout in front of him and stopped the vehicle. The driver admitted he was trying to get the Deputies attention. As a result of the investigation, it was determined the male was upset about a recent breakup and photo that was sent to him by his ex-girlfriend. A meth pipe and marijuana pipes were found in the car, along with checks with a forged signature. That victim did not want to press charges and said the account was closed. The driver was cited for the paraphernalia and he was transported to KH for treatment. 20-13174
• Several deputies from cover and grave yard shift responded to a weapon offense on the 16th Avenue x St. Anthony’s area. Through a variety of stories, eventually the most likely version of events was that a male invited an old girlfriend over but decided to spend time with the current girlfriend. An argument happened and someone left and went to another house where a gun was somehow involved. Long story short one of the females was eventually located in her vehicle at Real Life Ministries. After fleeing the mess on foot, she decided she was going to sleep it off in her car, and did not want to press any charges for anything. The male party was located in the middle of all of this hiding in his room in his father’s house, and was detained due to being uncooperative, but released when the female was located and did not want to press charges. In the end, Deputies took a very convoluted CV Agg. Assault and Assault report. 20-13177
• Deputies responded to S. Ross Point Rd. for a suicide threat. A male called in to report he was feeling suicidal after having a rough day. He was cooperative and was transported to the crisis center for assistance. 20-13173
• Deputies responded to the Athol Super 1 for a reported assault. A 75 year old employee confronted a male parked in the fire lane of the store and asked him to park in a normal parking stall. The male began to get belligerent and threatened to “kick his ass”. The male exited his vehicle and approached the employee aggressively with clenched fists. The employee went back into the store. A few minutes later, he went back outside and the same male had not moved his vehicle. The employee again asked for the vehicle to be removed, but was met with the same aggressive attitude and again the male threatened him. The employee went back into the store and called law enforcement. The suspect male was not located, however, an investigative lead was developed in the incident. 20-13179

• Deputies responded to the area of Tree Farm Ln. and FSR 206 for a report of multiple vehicles left in/along the roadway blocking the road. After contacting the responsible for the vehicles they removed them. 20-13193
• As the forecasted cold front began to blow through, the trees began to come down on roads and power lines. The various Hwy Districts responded and took care of business, and Deputies assisted where necessary.
• Deputies responded to the area of Hwy 54 and Meadow St. in Athol to assist Timberlake Fire reference residents burning brush on their property. The homeowner told the Deputy he was going to continue to burn even though he received a citation already for violating the State Fire Marshal’s current regulations. This time a complaint request was completed for the violation. 20-13237
• Several deputies searched for a 13 year old Autistic child, who left the residence on foot after an argument with his grandparents. After approximately an hour of searching, he called his grandparents and notified them he had gotten a ride to Rockford, Washington with a family friend. The grandparents confirmed this was a known, safe location for him. Deputies completed a report. 20-13269
• Deputies responded to the area of Highway 54 X Meadow St. in regards to a report from BNSF that a male exited his vehicle and stood on the tracks only to get out of the way just moments before the train should have struck him. Units searched the area, but were unable to locate anyone. 20-13277

• Deputies handled a trespassing call at Dockside Lane. A female is estranged from her ex. The ex has custody of his son and lives with his new girlfriend and her child. The family have been isolating because of other medical issues. The female has been told she had to make arrangements to see her son as they are isolating. This morning she came to the house uninvited, let herself in without knocking and went to the child’s room. The ex went in to the room to find her lying in bed with the child talking. An argument ensued and she left. Victim refused to press charges but the female was trespassed from the residence.
• Deputies responded to KH for a crash report. A male called it to report his 2 year old son was in their car on the family’s property. The family was getting ready to leave the house but the vehicle was not running. As the rest of the family was getting ready to go, the son crawled over into the front seat and kicked the gear leaver putting it in neutral. The car went down the hill and crashed into a tree. The child received injuries and was transported POV to KH. There were non-life-threatening injuries. Deputies responded to the scene and determined there seemed to be a problem with the vehicle transmission and could be shifted without the brake pedal depressed. Alcohol does not appear to be involved.
• Deputies responded to take a hit and run report that occurred at the Hauser Boat Launch last Friday. It was reported that a woman driving a truck and trailer backed into another trailer. Deputies were able to track down all the parties involved and information was exchanged with the owners.
• Deputies responded to W. Presley Road for a trespassing call. The suspects were contacted and apologized for the trespassing and a warning was given. 20-13313
• Deputies responded to E. Doyle Road for an alarm. It was determined the subjects on scene were allowed to there while the homeowners were away on vacation. 20-13306
• Deputies responded to a located stolen trailer. A worker from where the trailer was stolen noticed it parked at the address and called the Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded and developed several investigative leads on who stole the trailer. After Deputies cleared the residence a vehicle left with two occupants. A Deputy stopped the vehicle and both occupants were arrested on their active warrants. With the help of a K-9, a large amount of meth was located.
• Deputies responded to W. Kyler for an unattended death. A 48 years old male was found deceased in his bathroom. Detectives were notified to assist in the investigation. At this time it does not appear to be suspicious and was not COVID-19 related. 20-13354
• We received a 911 call from Timber Ln saying someone is holding someone else hostage before the phone call ended. A Deputy arrived in the area and was awaiting cover when he saw to subjects step into the street. He pulled up one of the subjects ran and the other stayed. They both alleged the other battered them however, based on the evidence one of the subjects was arrested for Felony Domestic Battery 20-13355
• Deputies responded N. Snowberry St. for a domestic battery call. It was reported that the “husband went crazy, broke doors, grabbed guns and left”. Deputies checked the area and put out an ATL for the vehicle to surrounding agencies. As of this writing the male had not been located and there are charges for felony domestic battery pending. 20-13322
