DOUG O: Solutions, not malice

I’ve known Doug for many years. We met at a local gun club in Hayden. While we share a love of competitive shooting, it was through our conversations about conservative principles and our support for President Trump that we became good friends.

Doug has been proudly campaigning about his ideas and solutions. He’s a good family man, Pro-life, believes the Constitution means what it says, will defend our Second Amendment rights, and really cares about others. That’s what good and qualified candidates do.

Unfortunately, not all candidates and their supporters believe they can get elected on their own merits and resort to dirty politics and personal attacks. Dirty politics is NOT conservative and doesn’t represent my values. This is no different than those who make up stories about President Trump.

Peter Sutherland doesn’t know Doug Okuniewicz, but that doesn’t stop him from making outlandish claims and distortions in his recent letter to the editor. Sadly, this is business as usual for those who relish engaging in swamp politics where the end justifies the means. Elections should be about the sharing of ideas and solutions, not mudslinging.

Let’s win this race for the good guys! Vote Doug Okuniewicz for State Representative in District 2, Seat B.
