• Deputies along with ACO responded to E. Black Lake Rd. reference what was originally a DAL and Vicious Animal call due to one of the neighbor’s dogs biting or going after the other neighbor’s dogs. It then turned into a Citizen Dispute between the parties. Deputies and ACO investigated and a citation was issued. 20-12916
• Several KCSO Deputies and Detective Units began converging on the area of Pinegrove and Rustic Lodge Dr. to assist City Units in locating a Missing/Overdue 7 yom. After arriving at the command post for assignments, the male was located within about 5 minutes.
• Deputies along with Task Force Units responded to W. Diagonal reference known felon battering a female. It was reported the male had smacked the female on her chin. While on scene Deputies learned the female was also allegedly battered yesterday by male, but she didn’t report that incident. When Deputies responded, the male was attempting to leave in a truck, and as he pulled onto Diagonal Rd. he saw a Deputy who was waiting for cover units to arrive. The male threw the truck in reverse and drove backwards all the way through the yard, and then ran from the vehicle west into the tree line. The area was searched with multiple units but the male was not able to be located. Charges were filed against the male for multiple violations. 20-12948
• Multiple units responded to the area of Hwy 95 and Marina in reference to a possible Kidnapping. The call was originally aired for W. Kidd Island Rd. wherein a female called 911 stating her granddaughter had just been taken by a “drug dealer from Spokane-first of “Adam”. The RP tried to follow what was described as a black sports type car w/WA. plates where she advised the speeds were reaching 100 mph. Dispatch requested she disregard following at that speed. Multiple units began responding to the location and the vehicle was ultimately spotted and contacted by Deputies. After investigating it was determined the granddaughter was trying to “run-away”. 20-12967
• Deputies responded to W. Hwy 53 for a reported “Psychological Issue” where 16YOM was arguing with his mother and began kicking/punching holes in the wall and breaking glass. At the time of the call, he was reported to have minor cuts on his hands/arms from the glass and Deputies were investigating. 20-12964
• While in route to the above call, a Deputy had a vehicle begin to “elude” him instead of yielding to his lights and siren as he was attempting to pass. The Deputy obtained the plate, and Central built a Traffic Offense. It is possible the driver; most likely being- a known subject who has an Active Warrant and was possibly trying to get away due to this. 20-12966
• Deputies responded to the end of Signal Point for a group of teenagers reported to be smoking marijuana. They were stargazing, but had not been smoking.
• A Deputy and his K-9 partner responded to the Kidd Island Bay area to assist ISP on a traffic stop.
• Deputies responded to a trespassing complaint on the docks by the boat launch at Neachen Bay. One of the local homeowners saw on a surveillance camera that there were several people parked in the no-parking zone and walking onto his dock as well as the public dock. Another neighbor complained about the loud music they were playing. Most of their activity was on the public dock and beach area, but they were warned for parking in the no parking zone, walking onto the neighbor’s property and informed they needed to disperse due to the Governor’s Order.
• A citizen called to report an ice cream truck driving through a neighborhood. He did not having a license plate or driver information. While food delivery is not a violation of the Governor’s Order, the male was concerned that, “Selling ice cream in front of kids right now is like dangling steak in front of a lion.” 20-12988
• A Deputy stopped a vehicle on Highway 97 they came up behind him at 70 mph. After fairly significant signs of impairment, he arrested the male for DUI. Breath samples were .000, but there were signs of possible drug use as well. A CDAPD officer completed the DRE investigation at the jail. 20-13010
