Coeur d’Alene Marathon

rescheduled for August

The Coeur d’Alene Marathon, Half-Marathon, 10K and 5K races have been rescheduled for Aug. 23, due to concerns over the coronavirus pandemic, organizers said.

The event was originally scheduled for May 24.

The Showcase cancer fundraiser

postponed to 2021

COEUR d’ALENE — The Showcase, a fundraiser for the Community Cancer Fund, has been rescheduled for July 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic, organizers said.

The Showcase consists of a celebrity golf tournament at The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course, among other events in the area.

This year’s event was scheduled for July 31-Aug. 1.

Since its inception in 2014, The Showcase has raised more than $17 million to fight cancer in the Inland Northwest.
