Notable calls for the day!

• Deputies responded to S. Breezy Way in Post Falls reference to a welfare check. According to an RP, and possibly through third or fourth party information, it was reported the male had made some possible suicidal statements. Deputies contacted him at a residence, and after speaking with him, he was taken KH for treatment.

• Several Deputies responded to the Wells Fargo Bank on Hayden Ave. for a Hold Up Alarm coming from the drive up teller area. Contact with the bank was made, and it was determined to be a false alarm. 20-12763

• Deputies and Detectives responded to the area of Boekel and Atlas for a reported Bicycle Theft which just occurred. A female decided to ride her bike down the road to go read a book in a field between Lancaster and Boekel when she observed a tan or light colored 4 door truck pull up to her bike (which had been left near the side of the road). A male emerged from the truck and picked up her bike even though she yelled at him that it was her bike. The truck was last seen headed north on Atlas Rd. Unit checked the area for the vehicle, but were unable to locate it. A report was taken. 20-12759

• Citizen on Patrol officer observed a male slumped over the wheel of a vehicle at the Hayden Maverick. Multiple deputies responded and arrested the driver for DUI Drugs. A Deputy was called out to complete a DRE investigation, but the driver refused to complete the evaluations, however he did provide a urine sample. 20-12814

• Deputies responded to a domestic dispute on Violet Lane where a male called to report that his wife, told him she cheated on his with his cousin, then pushed him after an argument started. The male chose to leave the residence and was picked up by friends. The female was issued a citation for domestic battery. 20-12812

• Citizen on Patrol officer was flagged down by a Walmart employee who alerted him to a potential theft occurring in the store. Deputies respond and contacted a male and female as they left the store. It was learned that the male was returning items that he claimed were purchased from other people who had bought the items from Walmart at a different location. He stated the people he purchased the items from, bought them at full price then sold them to him at a reduced rate so he could return them and make money. After confronting him on this he admitted that the items were likely stolen, although refused to admit that he had in fact stole them. He was charged with burglary and petit theft. 20-12828

• A Patrol Sergeant responded to W Orchard Avenue after a neighbor saw an unknown male go into the backyard of the abandoned residence. She claimed to have been a caretaker for the property and knew no one was supposed to be inside. The Sergeant located an unsecured door in the back and additional units along with K9 Deuce responded to the scene. The residence was searched, however, no one was found inside. There were items inside consistent with someone squatting in a bedroom to include the windows being blocked, a jacket, and some toiletries. The homeowner, was attempted to be contacted however, he wouldn’t answer the phone. FI completed. 20-12827

• Several Deputies responded to the area of Brunner and Weir for the report of a large party on the pipeline road. They searched the area but were unable to locate anything.

A Deputy located a suspicious vehicle in the area of Clagstone Rd. X HWY 54. The driver was found slumped over the steering wheel. She woke up momentarily at initial contact, but passed out again. The driver submitted to FSFTs, however, blew 000’s. It was suspected the driver was under the influence of drugs so she was arrested for DUI drugs and a CDAPD DRE was called to assist. 20-12870

• Deputies responded to Greyeagle Rd. for a report of a battery. Upon arrival, it was learned that a male had battered a female. After slapping the female in the face, the male fled into the woods. After several attempts and commands, the male refused to come out. He was located hiding in an outbuilding. The male was released from prison a month ago and is on parole, and intoxicated. The male was issued a citation for Battery and Obstructing. 20-12887
