Latest big game regs available online
The latest Idaho Fish and Game rule book for 2020 hunting seasons is available online and includes changes regarding how resident elk hunters purchase capped zone tags, a prohibition on bringing harvested big game into Idaho from other states or Canada, and increases the limit to 15 wolves for state trappers and hunters.
In addition, regulations suspend nonresident licenses, tags and permits in response to the COVID-19 concerns. Nonresidents may however purchase a 2020 hunting license and apply for fall big game controlled hunts.
The rule book also outlines closures of Fish and Game offices, at least through April 15. It encourages people to buy licenses, tags and permits online, and to apply for controlled hunts online.
