• ALL-BIG SKY CONFERENCE ACADEMIC TEAM
Nina Carlson, a junior from Lake City High, Allison Kirby, a junior from Timberlake High and Krista Story, a redshirt senior from Coeur d’Alene High were among 40 student-athletes from Idaho on the 2019-20 Big Sky Winter All-Academic team, announced by the league offices.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must carry at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale) and participate in at least 50 percent of the team’s competitions. Track and field student-athletes can also become eligible by competing at the conference championship. For Carlson and Kirby, both women’s basketball players, it is the second time they’ve been named to the list. It is the fourth time for Story as an indoor track and field runner.

HONOR ROLL
Lauren Rewers, a junior basketball player at Hawaii from Lake City High, was named to the Big West Commissioners Honor Roll, the conference announced. Student-athletes were named for achieving an institutional cumulative GPA in one of the following three categories: Honor roll (3.00-3.20), With Honors (3.21-3.50) and Highest Honors (3.51-4.0).
