MESSAGE: Love your neighbor

In the Gospel of Mark, Jesus gave two great commandments.

The first: You shall love the Lord your God with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.

The second: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

In loving our neighbor, we do not put them in harm’s way to have our way or to draw attention to ourselves. God is not confined to a building. He resides in the hearts of those who believe in Him.

I am thankful for the technology that is available so I can worship with my church family in a safe environment and those who work so hard to make it happen. Words of hope and encouragement are vital right now. There may be some who do not have this opportunity. If you know of someone, reach out to them in ways that are safe to show you care.

That is being a good neighbor.
