LETTERS: A double delight

I couldn’t agree more with two letters to the editor on Saturday.

Rebecca Vestman regarding trash… what IS up with “trashers?” Where were they raised? Who are they? How old are they? Young/old? I don’t get why anyone thinks it’s OK to throw their trash wherever they want. And dog poop not picked up? Don’t even get me started.

Also Jim Cook’s letter regarding what is essential… athletes? Give me a break! Millions of dollars because you can throw/kick/toss/hit a ball? Who cares when men/women in law enforcement/firefighters/EMT/EMS/nurses who are, you know, doing a small thing like protecting/saving us make pennies compared to people who do a sport? I’ve always thought it was ridiculous and always will.
