ESSENTIAL: The bottom line

Just an observation here. Perhaps I am biased, having grown up in a blue collar family, but I can’t help but notice who is “essential.” It appears the people who actually get dirt and grease under their fingernails, the people who spend the entire day on their feet, are the ones who actually make this country work.

I am not trying to denigrate anyone or their chosen profession, just pointing out ALL the pieces need to work. No one in this country has needed an entertainer or professional athlete but everyone has needed truck drivers, medical workers, the janitors who clean these medical facilities, etc. Just a thought for the next time the evening news makes a big deal over the Academy Awards.
