Coldwell Banker gives to area food banks
Coldwell Banker Schneidmiller Realty announced the gift of $20,000 to be shared by four area food banks. Those would include Post Falls, Rathdrum, Coeur d’Alene, and Shoshone County. The gift is funded by the Schneidmiller Family Foundation and was to be delivered this week. The Coldwell Banker Brokerage family together with its agents has a significant history of philanthropy in North Idaho.
Broker Gary Schneidmiller commented, “This contribution to area food banks will hopefully help mitigate a small part of the impact that faces our community and many of our most vulnerable citizens. It is clearly time for everyone to encourage public safety first as well as the challenges of taking care of neighbors and friends.” Mark Johnson, CEO of Coldwell Banker, agreed saying “We all need to do our part. I challenge other businesses and citizens do what they can. I would like to further challenge other area real estate firms and agents to step up. It is time that we help the community that has been so good to all of us.”
“Coldwell Banker’s international real estate company began in San Francisco in 1906, rising from the ashes of a city burned to the ground. Today’s crisis is clearly more reaching and concerning on a world wide basis. Working together we will learn a lot about ourselves and be better for the renewed importance of community that events like these engender,” Schneidmiller said.
