LIBRARIES: Curbside requested

| April 1, 2020 1:00 AM

In this time when people are stuck at home and needing things to fill their time, I am questioning why the Coeur d’Alene and Hayden libraries don’t stay open for people to pick up books.

We can put holds on books online; and once available, we can be notified to come get our book or books. Drive-up service seems easy … call once you are outside and someone at the library will take the book outside and put on a table for you to retrieve.

Restaurants are providing pickup service. Why not libraries?
