- Kootenai Health’s third annual Teddy Bear Clinic happens from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12. It is intended to help ease fears of hospitals and doctors and is designed for children age 3 to 7. Children and their bears will take vital signs, tour an operating room, learn about medication safety and try on gloves and masks. Info: dkitselman@kh.org.

- The CdA Chamber’s Fall Legislative Forum takes place from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Oct. 9 at the Best Western Plus Coeur d’Alene Inn.
