Our beloved Bobby was born on June 13, 1985, and left us way too soon on Sept. 20, 2019. Bobby loved playing baseball. He started as a little guy in T-ball and played through high school, then he continued to play softball with family and friends.

He learned the welding trade and was able to travel to jobs in many different states. He came back home to Athol often to be with family and friends. ‘B-bop,’ as his family knew him, loved riding his horses on the Bunco. Bobby loved dirt bike riding and being outdoors whenever possible. He was that guy who fit into any crowd; people were only strangers to him for a moment.

Bobby is survived by his parents, John (Jodie) Miller and Michelle Ruiz; brothers, JR (Shanna) and Jeremy; grandfather, Tim Jeffries; great-uncle, Bud (Mary) Vanderbilt and by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Robert and Jeanette Miller; grandmother, Laura and by cousin, Pennie Miller.

There will be a hole in the hearts of family and friends, however, every memory of Bobby will bring a smile to our faces.

A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 12, 2019, at the Athol Community Center. It will be a potluck with the main dish provided. Please bring your happy stories of our beloved Bobby. A donation jar will be set up to help with the cost of feeding the horses Bobby loved so dearly.
