On Saturday morning, the team faced off against the Spokane Sounders B2009 Valley Rave. Grant Johnson and Mason Taylor were keepers for the game. The Timbers charged into the first half with a hat trick by Ayden Garayalde and another goal scored by Collin Simon for a 4-0 lead at the end of the half. Saturday morning they beat Surf Sorenson Surf from Eastern Washington 3-2 after trailing 2-0 in the first half. Timbers goals were made by Gabriel Jones, Bryant Donovan and Spencer Nelson, who was assisted by Landon Miller. On Saturday afternoon the team played Flathead Valley United Green of Kalispell, Mont., to a scoreless tie. Timbers goalkeeper Grant Schofield stopped at least 13 shots. Timbers North FC 07 Boys Red: The Timbers defeated NW United BU13 Red from Bellingham, Wash., 7-0 last Saturday at Lake City High School. Timbers goals were scored by Liam Martin (3), Ronan Sternberg (2), Cody Kemp (1) and Lukas Ruchti with a penalty kick.
Thorns North FC 08 Girls Red: The Thorns hosted Nortac Sparta G08 Red on Saturday and won 3-2. Allison Carrico, Kambrya Powers and Ella Pearson each had 1 goal for the Thorns, and Nora Ryan had 1 assist.
Timbers North FC 06 Boys Red: The Timbers opened their season with a 2-2 tie hosting Washington Rush B06 Nero B. Kason Pintler and Connor Jump each had a goal for the Timbers, and Kai Delio and Lachlan May each had an assist.
