Griffen likely to miss
Zags women’s basketball season
SPOKANE —Gonzaga women’s basketball redshirt freshman Kylee Griffen has suffered a shoulder injury that will likely cause her to miss the duration of the season, the school announced.
Griffen, a 6-foot-2 guard from Marysville, Wash., arrived at Gonzaga in the fall of 2018 following a standout career at Lake Stevens High. She was a four-time first team All-WESCO selection and ranked as the 11th-best wing in her class by ESPN.
The Bulldogs play host to Warner Pacific in an exhibition game Saturday at 2 p.m. Gonzaga officially opens the season Nov. 10 at home against CSU Bakersfield.
