FACTS: Scrutinize the source

| October 23, 2019 1:00 AM

I strongly urge Press readers to be extra careful about their sources of “facts.” It might be difficult to absolutely determine what is factual, but it is not hard to weed out sources that are as far from factual as it can get.

First, Donald Trump is an obviously poor source. Before you respond to that statement, consider the next worst choice: those who respond to criticism by attacking the people they disagree with without presenting real counter facts.

The next worst choice is the apologists for Donald Trump, e.g. Republican political incumbents. You know what their rationale for lying is. And don’t forget how often they regularly change their “facts” and don’t use the old “Democrats lie too.”

You have the responsibility as a patriotic American (if that is what you think you are) to openly analyze and make a decision on what is most truthful, not what is most comfortable.
