Cardinals sweep Walla Walla

WALLA WALLA, Wash. — Kameryn Reynolds had 11 kills, Lake City High product Chloe Knudson nine kills and 20 digs for North Idaho College in a 25-23, 25-18, 25-23 sweep of the Walla Walla Warriors in Northwest Athletic Conference play on Friday.

Journey Tupea had seven kills and 12 digs, Kynzey Mitzel 13 digs and Hannah McPhetridge eight kills for NIC (22-3, 11-0 NWAC), which hosts Yakima Valley next Friday at Christianson Gymnasium.

The Cardinals lead the East Region by one match over the Community Colleges of Spokane with five games remaining. The teams play at NIC on Friday, Nov. 1.

Kassie Collins had 11 kills for Walla Walla (14-14, 4-5), which is fifth in the East Region.
