Bernice M. Haight, 92

Bernice M. Haight was born in 1927 and went to Heaven on Sept. 13, 2019.

Bernice was married to Robert “Bert” Haight for 50 years. Bert and Bernice had many adventures together, and with friends and family. They went to NASCAR races and they also went on an ocean cruise to Alaska with their son and grandson. They enjoyed bowling; their favorite was going to Cove Bowl on Friday nights. Bernice was placed in the Bowlers Hall of Fame as a lifetime member. She was also a member of several bowling teams and leagues over the years, including a travel team that traveled to many places all over North Idaho.

Bernice, after the loss of Bert, continued to enjoy long drives with her grandchildren and close family members. She also enjoyed Wednesday night dinner with her daughter and family.

Bernice had many friends and accomplishments over her 92 years and will be dearly missed.

Bernice was preceded in death by her adopted parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Boaher; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Finklin; brother, Jack Finklin; sisters Georgia Heite, Elice Pirate and Flavia Turk; and grandson, John D. Box.

Bernice leaves behind her son and daughter-in-law, Larry Haight and Dawn Attwood; grandson, Robert G. Haight; great-granddaughter, Winn Haight; daughter and son-in-law, Arvada and Roy Schumacher and granddaughters, Krisstina Box and Nichole Schumacher. Bernice also leaves behind many more of her loving family members.
