CPAs announce new ownership

Brian Shull, Toni Hackwith and Christina Laurie have become owners and managers of Anderson Bros. CPAs.

Shull received his accounting degree from the University of Idaho and has been a practicing CPA in the area for 21 years.

Hackwith earned her degree from Eastern Washington University and has been a practicing CPA in the area for 25 years, including five years with the firm.

Laurie is a Spokane resident with a master’s degree in accounting from Gonzaga University, and has been with the firm for 12 years.

Verdis has a new vice president

of operations

Peter Marshall has joined Verdis, a woman-owned land planning, designing, engineering and construction firm based in downtown Coeur d’Alene, as vice president of operations

Marshall holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, a Master’s degree in biblical languages from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, and a doctorate in leadership from Midwestern Seminary in Kansas City, Mo.

Marshall worked in residential and commercial construction with his father and uncles and later accepted a role as project and branch manager with Roberts-McNutt Waterproofing & Roofing in Springdale, Ark. Prior to Verdis, he was employed as a sales and project manager with Western Specialty Contractors in Seattle.
