CORRIDOR: Keeping eyes open

Mr. Brian Jorgensen’s My Turn letter in the Nov. 19 Press makes some compelling points regarding an anticipated health corridor in Coeur d’Alene. I admit that I was vaguely familiar with the concept but not paying much attention to it. If there is the slightest possibility that any of his concerns could turn out to be true I think our citizens need to pay attention. I know I will.

In fact, because of the letter, I plan to pay much closer attention than I would have and maybe the lesson for me is to pay more attention to local stories in general.

I’m guessing that The Press plans to follow this story closely. When you do, please highlight the potential impacts on any of our citizens. This is one of those local stories that deserves a lot of attention. It will definitely get mine.
