Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre will present Charles Dickens' classic holiday tale, "A Christmas Carol," in live 1940s radio broadcasts in December.
Actors will bring dozens of characters to the stage as the familiar story unfolds — three ghosts take protagonist Ebenezer Scrooge on a journey through time to teach him the true meaning of Christmas.
Included in the production will be vintage commercials for fruitcake (extra fancy!) and the magic of live sound effects and musical underscoring.
Show times are: 7:30 p.m. Dec. 19, 20 and 21; and 2 p.m. Dec. 22 at the Innovation Den, 418 E. Lakeside Ave., Coeur d'Alene.
Tickets are $27 and can be purchased online at www.cdasummertheatre.com or by calling 208-660-2958.
