GIFT: Nailed by niceness

I recently went for a pedicure at a local nail shop. Imagine my shock to learn that an unknown patron paid for my pedicure as she paid for her own.
Being handicapped and struggling with daily living challenges, receiving a pedicure is the one indulgence I allow myself and is the highlight of my week. Having this paid for by a complete stranger is touching in itself, but for a handicapped woman living on a fixed income, this gesture went straight to my heart.
So to the person who did this, I may not know you, but I can’t help but smile every time I think of you.
