- The Coeur d’Alene Library has been collecting clean, gently used children’s toys and will host a children’s toy exchange from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7. Early-bird admission is until 1:30 p.m. for those that had donated during November and general admission begins at 2 p.m., when anyone can pick out a toy. The event is free.

- The Monday Painters, a Hayden-based group of artists studying realistic drawing and painting styles under classical realism painter Joe Kronenberg are exhibiting their work now until Monday, Dec. 2 at the Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center in Post Falls.

- Residents wishing to voice their comments at Tuesday’s Coeur d’Alene Arts Commission meeting will each be allotted two minutes near the beginning of the agenda to speak their minds. The meeting begins at 4pm in Conference Room #6 at City Hall at 710 N Mullan.
