Blazen Divaz to stream joy into your Thanksgiving
SOMEWHERE BETWEEN HERE AND PHILADELPHIA — It’s been two years for Coeur d’Alene’s Blazen Divaz dance and public service team.
Two years of hard work. Practicing. Planning. Choreographing.
Their reward? A 2-mile sashay down Philadelphia’s Benjamin Franklin Parkway on Thanksgiving morning.
In a few days, it will be time for the 100th annual 6ABC Dunkin’ Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade. Our Divaz will be joined on their trek by marching bands, dance troupes, tap dancing schools, choirs, beauty queens, the Philadelphia Eagles players and cheerleaders, Philadelphia’s six pro sports mascots, pilgrims, floats and balloons, stars of stage and screen, the mayor, and — of course — Santa.
The only way to see the parade in North Idaho is through streaming media...very, very early in the morning. Thursday’s show starts at 5:30 a.m. Pacific time. Visit www.6abc.com to see it all.
Coverage of the parade will also be in The Press on Friday.
