Wallace, Kellogg to play for Silver Valley tourney title

WALLACE — Jaden House scored 17 points to lead the Wallace Miners past the Potlatch Loggers 54-22 in the opening round of the Silver Valley Tournament on Friday at Kirby Krulitz Court.

Sarah Johnson scored 11 points for Wallace (2-0), which faces Kellogg in tonight’s championship game at 7.

Kellogg (2-0) beat St. Maries 44-33 in the other opening round game.

St. Maries (0-3) will face Potlatch in the consolation game tonight at 5:30.

HELENA, Mont. — Imelda Bresee had 24 points, 15 rebounds, three blocked shots and three steals for the Royals in a win over the Bitteroot Home School Association in the opening round of the Helena Holiday Shootout at Carroll College.

Riley Anderson had six steals and seven assists for North Idaho Christian (1-0), which faces Stillwater Christian today.
